Our Story Built with Soul

A Legacy of Craftsmanship

HyggeHut was born from the passion of two craftsmen — a father and son — who share a deep love for traditional log building. Together, they have built over 100 log houses across Scandinavia. Now, they’ve returned home to their roots — to Saaremaa, a serene island off the coast of Estonia, where forests meet the sea and time slows down.

Born on island Saaremaa

Each HyggeHut is handcrafted on this beautiful island, surrounded by clean air, quiet pine woods, and the calm rhythm of nature. Saaremaa is part of the UNESCO biosphere program and is known for its unspoiled environment and sustainable way of life — a perfect place to build homes that reflect balance, authenticity, and care.

Handmade, One Log at a Time

Every log is carefully joined using time-honored techniques. Our cabins are not mass-produced — each one is built by hand with purpose, precision, and heart, using natural materials and traditional tools.

More Than Just a Cabin

More than just a tiny house, a HyggeHut is a soulful retreat — pre-built, mobile, energy-efficient, and designed with simplicity, coziness, and timeless Nordic charm. It’s the ideal space for those seeking a getaway, a guesthouse, or a peaceful connection to nature.

Built with Soul

To us, “Built with Soul” means every log, joint, and detail is made with love and intention. HyggeHut invites you to slow down, breathe deeper, and feel at home in the rhythm of the wild.
